Why the synagogues, temples, chavurah, prayer circles, do not have International Holocaust Observance on their January calendars?
The Hebrew Calendar Date, 10th of Shevat.
On the 27th of Nisan ( in the month of April), the Anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising April 19, 1943. This defines as the day German troops and police entered the ghetto where all the Jews were placed, then gathered to be deported to the concentration camps. Seven hundred and fifty Jewish fighters armed and ready when the Germans entered.
This Hebrew date on the Hebrew Calendar, 27th of Nisan, was established by the Israeli Government and observed Worldwide. It is known as Yom HaShoah.

Wait! Then, what is International Holocaust Remembrance Day in January? January 27th. Each and every year on this date is the Anniversary on the Liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camps. This day was designated by the UN General Assembly for the Victims. Remembrance, Educate, Prevention.
