Sukkot starts on a Sunday night next year. Can I have my ceremony Sunday afternoon? I’m not very observant, but do want a Jewish wedding (and a willing Rabbi)
Thanks

Thank you for asking your question. The days between Yom Kippur and Sukkot are very extremely auspicious days! A favorable and good time to marry for a long and happy marriage. As you mentioned, your wedding will take place before the festival/holiday begins, in the afternoon. Finding a willing Rabbi may or may not be difficult. Always best to find a Rabbi that resides nearby where your wedding will take place. This way you may have less stress in finding the ‘willing’ Rabbi and your also being very kind with the time for the Rabbi to travel back in time to observe the festival / holiday of Sukkot.
