Bessie Brown – 1911-1961

December 26, 2012 By jwrdirector

by Vicki
(Arizona)

I can’t believe that mom died 50 years ago tomorrow. She was only 49, but she packed so much into that time. She was a doer. When I started school she found out that they didn’t have a library, so she lobbied for a room and set one up, we donated the first book of the library, “The Secret Garden”. She also started the brownie troupe before I was old enough to join so that it would be ready for me.
She was such a loving mother, wife, and friend to everyone.

I still miss her.
Love you, Mom,
Me

Bessie, an abiding blessing to all. Forever in their hearts, Forever in their thoughts.
